The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) welcomes you to attend NASN2024! School nurses and other school health team members from all over the world are coming together for our premiere "Stronger Together" learning event.

NASN is again offering an In-Person conference event in the Windy City and an online Virtual conference event. These events are separate events with different schedules. Here are the registration options offered and a few key points for you to consider. 

In-Person NASN2024: June 28 – July 1, 2024: Join us in Chicago for an immersive conference highlighting the power of collaboration with school nurses. Our sessions, carefully curated to embody the spirit of Stronger Together, will be presented or co-presented by experienced school nurses. Diversity, equity, and inclusion will be integral to each discussion, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of relevant topics. Attendee wellness is a top priority, with activities ranging from morning workouts to mindfulness sessions designed to rejuvenate and inspire. Attendees will experience outstanding presentations, expert speakers, and a sprinkle of fun throughout the event.

Virtual NASN2024: July 8 – 10, 2024: Responding to the needs of our diverse community, we are offering a virtual option to accommodate over 1500 attendees. Flexibility is key, allowing participants to learn from anywhere at any time. Live speaker Q&A sessions, Braindate engagement, and industry-sponsored sessions will enhance the virtual experience, ensuring that valuable insights and networking opportunities are accessible to all.

NASN2024 Bundle: In-Person & Virtual: For those seeking the best of both worlds, our bundle option provides access to both In-Person and Virtual NASN2024. Attendees can double their skills, double their networking, and double their experience for a truly enriching professional journey.

As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will be able to

Describe one concept you learned at the NASN annual conference that promotes shared leadership in diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students’ well-being.

Explain how the use of data establishes a foundation of ethics, excellence, and integrity for school nursing practice.

Apply the knowledge learned at the annual conference that will impact your daily nursing practice to ensure students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

Identify two processes you will use to implement an evidence-based practice you learned at NASN2024.

Identify two new evidence-based practices or resources from NASN2024 (sessions, exhibitors, or poster presentations) that can be used to promote academic success and the health of students and communities.

Identify strategies that prioritize the physical and mental well-being of the school nurse, students, and school staff.

The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all In-Person NASN2024 attendees. Our decisions and preventive measures will be guided by the requirements and recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and federal, state, and local health authorities. Currently, CDC recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines for their age group.

The responsibility for a safe and healthy event environment is shared among all attendees and all agree not to attend In-Person NASN2024 if you are experiencing, or within the 10 days prior, have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or another communicable disease, believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or another communicable disease, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or another communicable disease and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for your treatment. NASN shall not be responsible for the cost of any missed travel, additional accommodations required, or other costs incurred due to illness.

Proof of vaccination is not required at this time. People may choose to mask at any time.
